Federal Black Lung

The Federal Black Lung act provides benefits for miners and their families when the miner develops a disabling respiratory condition due to coal mine dust exposure. This can include the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis as well as COPD, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and asthma. We do not charge our clients a fee for this service and any money that the miner is awarded in benefits is theirs to keep.
